Best quote ever.

Well, since the librarian one, at least.

I went swimming today for the first time this summer, felt like a three legged cat trying to bury turds in an icy pond, just maybe not as cold.

On that note, do Californians know what summer is?

This is getting ridiculous. I can't fall asleep before 2:00am and I can't seem to wake up before 4:00pm, no matter how early I actually get up. I just walk around in a daze all day and then I start looking alive as the sun starts dipping.

I'm jet-lagged, and I never even went anywhere. Goddammit!

I take it all back. Sure the Lakers are a one man show, and the Cavs are a one overgrown boy show, the Golden State Warriors are just plain revolting, Gerald Greene is an athletic dunce and Gilbert Arenas aught to be beaten to death with a bicycle chain. Still, Nash is an absolute genius, Kidd has no give in him despite the fact that he's surrounded by assholes, and Deron Williams is a stud.

I've enjoyed watching the suns, despite the fact that their forwards are none too bright. I've enjoyed watching the Nets, despite the fact that Vince Carter is an under achiever with no heart. I've really enjoyed watching Utah, a young team which has shown great character and a lot of versatility in these playoffs.

but above all, I enjoy watching the Spurs. These guys play ball like it's supposed to be played (aside from the cheap shots) they're coordinated, they're determined, they're focused, they're sophisticated, they go for substance over style, and they do all that both ends of the court.

I really don't understand how anyone can call these guys boring. They such a variety of ways in which they break down the defenses they face, and they make so few mistakes, and they work so well within the team concept... It's beautiful is what it is, except for the cheap shots.

I don't know what it is exactly that anyone who prefers a team like the Cavs (not to mention Golden Shower) over these guys likes watching, but it certainly isn't basketball.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Why has it become difficult to put up an image without actually hosting it on Xanga? Goddamn.
